She's approaching 100, but Betty White can't help acting. The Golden Girls star can be seen in a Christmas movie at the end of the year.

The still untitled film is made for channel Lifetime. The official statement states that White plays a character who helps train potential helper Santas to proclaim true Christmas spirit. But there is a twist, according to the makers: it could just be that the woman actually 'Mrs. Claus 'is, the real Santa Claus' wife.

In the past two years, it seemed as if White had really stopped acting, although she was briefly heard last year as toy tiger Bitey White in the movie Toy Story 4. The television icon has been part of the entertainment industry and won seven Emmys. In addition to her legendary role as Rose Nylund in The Golden Girls, the actress has made waves in The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Carol Burnett Show and the comedy Hot In Cleveland.

White was the oldest of the fourth lead actresses from The Golden Girls, but is the only surviving actress from the 1980s hit. Estelle Getty (Sophia), Bea Arthur (Dorothy) and Rue McClanahan (Blanche) died in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
