The High Note, the musical film with star Dakota Johnson and Tracee Ellis Ross, will be distributed in streaming, here is the release date.

The High Note, the film with Dakota Johnson and Tracee Ellis Ross, will debut directly in digital format on the streaming platforms and on the video on demand circuit from Friday 29 May, as revealed by the new trailer.

The project was due to arrive on the big screen in the United States on May 8, however the closure of the cinemas convinced Focus Features to change its distribution strategy. The High Note will then be available for rental and will be viewable at the price of $ 19.99 for 48 hours as happened in the past to other highly anticipated titles.

The film The High Note, directed by Nisha Ganatra, also stars Kelvin Harrison Jr., Ice Cube, Zoe Chao, Eddie Izzard, Bill Pullman and Diplo. The screenplay was instead signed by Flora Greeson. Dakota Johnson has the part of Maggie, a girl who has been taking care of Grace Davis (Tracee Ellis Ross) for years, being overworked and receiving unsatisfactory compensation. Her dream has always been to become a music producer and when the manager of the star (Ice Cube) offers her a choice that could change the course of her career. Maggie and Grace have to come up with a plan that could change their lives forever.
